But if they are a toddler just walking, or a bit older doing some swimming but still in diapers, then a heavy diaper can sometimes be too much for their still wobbly legs or newly developed swimming skills.
Most cloth swim diapers are made from cotton but some will have a quick drying nylon outer shell. Most cost less than fifteen dollars and can be used the whole summer, while disposables have a one time use. Cloth swim diapers can just be tossed into the washing machine with the swimsuits and the towels after your trip to the pool to be washed and ready to go for the next pool outing.
